I'm.... waiting to watch 8x14 (it's on my HD) and I'm not quite feeling this season as much either. Have heard good things about the way this will end and lead into next season however. Thought 8x13 was good and 8x14's supposed to be better.
CSI
Have been following the original still and just watched 513 today. It's certainly good and there's a little more scope for character exploration now but CSI isn't so much a typical show. It could, it seems, run forever. Watched 1x01-03 of CSI:NY before it just became "grab episodes and burn them to CD" now (since Christmas) it's been "download the torrent file, never make time to run the torrent". Sure it's good but I've just not the commitment to start from all the way behind that I am.

Got the first 8 via majuran and still to watch but am waiting for a free block of time for them so I can be impressed in one sitting.
