Other than that, I agree entirely with your (and Janet's) analysis of the situation - ignorance and sexism and knee-jerk reactions to what is a wholly good thing. I look forward to the time when *all* young people are vaccinated against HPV, but I understand the financial constraints and pragmatism that mean that girls will be the first recipients.
I also look forward to the day when people stop making moral judgements about other people having sex, but I fear I won't see that day in my lifetime :-(
