Actually I though the conversation between Rose and ... wossername, psychic servant girl...in the basement was terribly overwritten and just plain dragged. And the attention to detail that noticed Dickens would have no idea what 'fan' meant earns brownie points in itself.

Other than that, considering I don't normally like 'Whos' (or Lois & Clarks/ Star Treks etc etc) that insist on inserting real historical characters in eps, I enjoyed this one.
