DEADWOOD
Watch Deadwood. Sky One, Mondays 11 p.m., repeated on Sky One Mix on Wed and Sun. You can still catch the repeat of the first episode this Sunday. A superb, dark western with swearing, violence, great characterisation, Ian McShane, Brad Dourif and Wild Bill Hickock. What more do you want?
This has been a public service announcement on behalf of all the great TV you're not watching.

Other than that, guests are invited, maps are issued, cake and flowers arranged, rings bought, clothes arranged, meal booked... unless I'm missing something huge, I think we're all sorted. Janet hasn't backed out yet, and I'm not intending to leave her at the altar. :-)
The last thing we heard, one of our Aunts wanted to wear a hat at the reception. Which seems pretty normal, and one of those things I'm pretty sure I didn't need to know. I figure if we're down to that level of detail, there must be nothing else to worry about!
Actually, I'm still not worried about the whole thing. I anticipate a few last minute nerves the night before, but fingers crossed we haven't built it up into something that can be ruined by minor disasters, so it should all be okay...

Please don't friends-lock your write-up of the wedding, I'd love to read how it went.

Right.
And here was me dropping by to throw support at Iain and cheer in the 'Deadwood ROCKS' squad.
