I actually have a pretty neutral accent, except when I veer off into Yorkshire-isms. I think a lot of people who've been to Uni, had a lot of education, and generally mixed with loads of people from different accents, tend to lose the rough edges from their accents. Plus my Mum talks really posh. :-)
Having said that, I swear my brother's Yorkshire accent got twice as strong after he moved to London...
